\"OSHA<\/p>\n

The U.S. Department of Labor released a final rule on January 23, 2019 which increases the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) civil monetary penalties accessed or enforced by the Department against employers for health and safety violations. The penalty increase is pursuant to the Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act of 2015 (Inflation Adjustment Act). The increased penalties will apply to any violation issued after January 23, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
